Eddie was born in December 2006 in a litter of 11 puppies (5+6) at Kennel Harjaselän. One little girl was lost. All puppies have ridge, but one boy has an extra crown. One girl has only one crown, and another has black color in her head. No sinus or kink tail was found.

Eddie has a very nice and happy character. He's a very soft, trusting RR and he has never questioned my authority as a boss. Eddie is also very active, but he also really knows how to relax! He's not the bravest RR I've seen, and he sometimes asks for support in confusing situations. Eddie is extremely patient, and he´s a very good big brother to Vilho.

Eddie was mental tested in September 2010. The test proved him to be quite a lot like I thought he is.

Like many other ridgebacks, Eddie loves lure coursing. He was taken to a lure coursing training at the age of 6 months. Eddie is the winner of the Kimbia Chumo Trophy 2008 and finished 2nd in the RR championship trial the same year, beaten by his sister Aava. Eddie also holds 3 lure coursing CACs in Estonia and 1 in Finland.

Blood tracking Eddie started in autumn 2007. In june 2008 Eddie had his first blood tracking trial, which he completed with 3rd prize. After a few 2nd and 3rd prizes he finally gained two 1st prizes in the summer 2010 and was moved to the winner class. In Septermber 2010 he completed the Finnish Tracking Champion title gaining 3 1st prizes in 12 days! Eddie is the 5th and so far the youngest ridgeback to reach the tracking champion title in Finland.

Among the official activities Eddie likes hunting deers and squirrels. He's also very fond of saunaing!
